This page is dedicated to the seadoo XP enthusiasts, and I'm one of them. The XP with the X4 class hull has been an amazing machine over time and worth rebuilding. The deep 'V' hull makes it nimble, and will turn on a dime by upgrading to racing sponsons. Great on gas if your just touring, but can swallow a full tank in an hour if you ride hard. Given the choice, I prefer to run the ski with pre-mix in the tank as this makes for easy finger throttle response and is also more comfortable. I do recommend a non-slip seat covering and treads, and my favorite over the years has been Hydro-Turf brand. Many extras can be found for this ski, like pump parts and impellers, steering and more. I chose to install a UMI steering head on my personal ski as it changes the center of gravity and allows for a large person to take full advantage of what the XP is capable of.
